Finally, I’ve found a possibly valid application for VRML: the visualizations I’ve been trying to produce. One of the real disconnects in this whole thing is the way the end-user/client can’t interact with the data in the same way I can while developing it. Even if I *could* get a good movie output. Maybe VRML can be the answer I’ve been looking for?

Obviously, the day after I finally get around to starting the blog, blogger.com gets 0wNzed (or whatever it is these krazy kidz say these dayz…) Seems to be back and OK now though…

Trying to do convincing visualizations of medium complex data (this isn’t meteorology or anything) and you know what? It’s harder than it looks. Or maybe not. Anyway, not quite convincing myself yet that I’m getting what we need…

So, I finally got around to starting my blog… Naturally I couldn’t do it the easy way, so the template creates a couple of php arrays (one 2-dimensional for items, one for metainfo), rather than having any printing going on directly. Anyway, now I just have to think of something to say on a vaguely regular basis… (Y si estás buscando el blog en castellano, creo que voy mezclar idiomas en un solo blog.)
