(Y además la puedes colgar en la pared, dicen…) Probablamente no están pensando en vender este producto en el mercado español. Pero, tambien puede ser que sí! Atacama Puta. “Elegante y silenciosa” ;)
More Creative MuVo microdrive hacking
Over at VR-Zone Hardware, they’ve worked out what all photogs wanted to know: could the new MuVo (the 2 version) be used as the source material for v. cheap CF storage? Looks like the answer is yes.

The Greediest Monopoly on Earth
RIAA forced technology weed to choke it from The Reg.
A shot in the arm
From WorldNetDaily: Paying for drinks with wave of the hand talks about Baja Beach Club in Barcelona (I go there *all* the time!) where they’re implementing an RFID chip-based payment/VIP pass system. Useful, as most of the time it seems the most suitable attire there would be nothing (I know *I* never know where to keep my wallet when I go there…)
"Free Internet Telephony that Just Works"
I’m getting quite into Skype. As always with this sort of thing, it’s of limited use until there’s a decent number of your contacts using it, but that’s boosted by the fact you can use it to call mobiles or even (gasp) landlines.
Lenses for your cameraphone
Another one dug up by good old Engadget: add-on lenses for your cameraphone. Might be quite interesting – in most cases, I doubt the quality of these can diminish the native lens quality by all that much. Certainly I don’t think it would on my MC60, anyway…
Unix's founding fathers
The Economist had an interesting, if brief, article on Dennis Ritchie, Unix, C and other goings on at The Labs.
Gentoo
I’ve just installed Gentoo Linux for the first time and I definitely like its style. Very slick, and emerge is very nice. It was quite good fun trying to get support working for NForce networking, but not particular harder (and certainly a lot clearer) than getting it work in Mandrake 9.x.
Wrong end of the stick…
How to misquote: a lesson in bad journalism from Mobilemag.com. Nicola Bruno’s account of the Kodak DCS SLR/c review in Digital Photograph Review [sic] is a masterclass in not knowing your subject and freely chucking in partial snippets of quotes from somewhere else to produce a piece. And I quote: “The first 14 megapixel digital SLR” – it’s not 14Mp, and whatever it is, it’s got exactly the same sensor as the last Kodak dSLR; “The Kodak DCS Pro is now the second camera to have a true 35mm size sensor” – it’s not even called DCS Pro; “it’s also the only camera to support Canon mount lenses”; “the capability to capture images at 4560 x 3048, 19 of them in RAW format in only 1.7 seconds”. She goes on to say “Read more from the source.” Good idea.
